Who we are
JSR Energy Consultancy Ltd is a business energy and water consultancy registered in England and Wales, company number 10644557, with its head office at Unit 22 Shine Building, Leeds LS8 5HS. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
What we collect
When you request a comparison we collect your business name, contact name, email address, telephone number, business postcode and address, your current supplier and an indication of your energy spend or consumption.
Where you appoint us to act on your behalf we may also process meter numbers (MPAN, MPRN and SPID), consumption data, contract end dates and billing information obtained from you or from your supplier under a letter of authority.
How we use your data
We use your data to prepare quotations, approach suppliers on your behalf, administer contracts and transfers, validate billing and manage your account through to renewal. We also use it to contact you about your renewal dates and about services relevant to your business.
Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in providing and improving consultancy services, and your consent where required for marketing communications.
Who we share it with
We share only the data necessary to tender your requirement with licensed energy and water suppliers on our panel, and with the data collectors, meter operators and network operators involved in delivering a service you have asked for. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months from last contact. Client contract records are retained for the life of the contract and for six years afterwards to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to withdraw consent to marketing at any time, and to data portability.
